Please gather an electronic copy of all of your certifications PRIOR to submitting your TERT Application. You will be required to submit proof of certification.
TERT Member
1. Basic Communications Certification (Issued by the Georgia Public Safety Training Center)
2. IS-144 Telecommunicators Emergency Response Taskforce Basic Awareness
3. IS-100 Introduction to Incident Command System
4. IS-200 ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
5. IS-700 National Incident Management System, An Introduction
6. IS-800 National Response Framework
Recommended
- Hazardous Materials Awareness
- Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) [from any any nationally recognized provider]
- National Crime Information Center (NCIC) certification (any level).
TERT Team Leader
1. All of the requirement listed for a TERT Member
2. IS-1200 TERT Team Leader
Recommended:
- IS-300 Intermediate Incident Command System
- IS-400 Advanced Incident Command System
- FEMA Communications Unit Leader (COML)
